Safari Overview

Destinations: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Parks:

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Tarangire National Park. The park is known as semi-arid, and it is famous for big number of elephants and giant African baobab trees and you can see different species of animals and birds. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Late evening drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing with packed lunch box. The Lake Manyara national park is one of the most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-third of the park) located at the roof of the Great Rift Valley. You can see many species of animals and birds. There are hippopotamuses at one end of the park where visitors can get out of their cars and observe from a safe distance. Also Lake Manyara unique tree-climbing lions well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. Late evening drive back to the camp site for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti national park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and Ngorongoro Conservation area. The Serengeti National park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eyes can see and it consist of the big number of animals and birds. Late evening drive back to the camp site for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti Plain

We do after breakfast game viewing with packed lunch box. Game viewing is good for possible big herds of wildebeests, lions, gazelle, ostrich and cheetah sightings. Late evening drive to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro conservation area game on route with packed lunch box. Late evening drive to the camp site for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro crater to Arusha.

After breakfast we descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full day game drive. The Ngorongoro crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhino. Supports a vast variety of animals include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw of this picturesque national park is it is huge of population of predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and every elusive leopard. We will enjoy the picnic lunch on the crater floor. Late evening drive to Arusha town at the hotel for dinner and overnight or we will go straight to the airport.
