WHAT TO DO IN MAFIA ISLAND
Trip Itinerary
Day 1:
After Landing from either Dar es salam, Zanzibar or Nyerere national park you will be picked up to Mafia island lodge one of the best lodge in the island. The nights at the lodge will include breakfast. After checking in the lodge you will relax there waiting for evening sunset cruise that will start from 1600hrs to 1800hrs. After the sunset cruise you will be back to your room ready for overnight.
Day 2:
The main activity in this trip will be snorkeling. This is a trip that will mark a memory in your life as you will get the chance to swim with the biggest fishes in the world (Whale Sharks). A captain will pick you up from the lodge at 0900hrs and start to sail to the Marine Park as well as sharks point. After arriving there you will start by snorkeling at the colorful corals and get to see the other side of life. After then we will sail to the Sharks sides and there you will find them hanging around just waiting for you to drop into the sea and swim with them so much friendly. 1500hrs will be the end of this trip whereby you will be picked up back to your hotel.
Day 3:
This is the departure day whereby the driver will pick you up to the village just to have a short village tour before you have your flight back to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar. The driver will take you at 0900hrs with your bags so you can have chance to buy some gifts at the village market.
